Injures left knee on May 19, and is expected to be out of the lineup for just a short time! It turns out that he needs surgery! It turns out that he has bone marrow edema! This is serious stuff! Maybe he'll never play again! Nobody knows what to think!
After his injury Magglio changes agents twice! Is secretive about his physical progress! Won't let Sox doctors see him!		His new agent makes demands, tells Sox... They can sign him but they're not allowed to... ... give him a physical examination before making an offer!
Magglio winds up losing the good will he accumulated with Sox fans and signs with the Detroit Tigers
