Traditional Sox Fans didn't . . . ...see it coming ...know who Steve Dahl was ...know what disco was ...care about Dahl or disco They thought it a disgrace	The Basics Mike Veeck teams up with Steve Dahl! They invite fans to come to Sox Park . . . To destroy disco records . . . After game 1 of doubleheader! Fans pour onto field as records fly! Umps forfeit game 2 to Tigers!		Steve Dahl Fans. . . entered the park... by paying 98 cents... & bringing a disco record Their rallying cry: Disco Sucks!
Twice as many people came than would fit in the ballpark! The cops could handle the fans inside or the ones outside! But there weren't enough men in blue to handle both! The outside fans tried to tip over ticket booths! The inside fans stormed onto the field of play!		In the stands, fans flung records like frisbees! while Steve Dahl blew up records on the field! Fires were set on the field and smoke hung in the air! Fans on the playing field milled about rather tamely! But the overall scene was downright scary for most!
In 2004, the 25th anniversary of Disco Demolition Night was celebrated with a one-hour commemorative video, and people actually got nostalgic over it.
