A football coach only makes one speech per week! It is much tougher to deliver a locker room address . . . . . . every day! Plus no one is going to listen anyway! The implication is that Lou does not need . . . . . . to make a speech to motivate his players!
We like the sound of this quote-- that's why we're using it! And . . . the 2007 Cubs certainly seemed more motivated than the 2006 Cubs-- right? At least it seemed that way until the playoffs. . .
