| The Cubs started the season with a 23-year-old pitcher named Orlie Weaver. "Orlie" is a cool name and most clubs would try to hang onto an Orlie. Why did the Cubs send him to Boston? Probably because they received both Wilbur Good and Peaches Graham from the Braves that year. In our opinion it is always worth giving up an Orlie for a Wilbur and a Peaches. | ||
