1906
Chicago's greatest baseball year! |

|
The Logan Squares were a Chicago semi-pro team that were founded by former Sox pitcher, outfielder, and manager, James J. "Nixey" Callahan. Callahan left the White Sox after the '05 season. Apparently he had a disagreement with Comiskey, but our research-- not very exhaustive-- hasn't enabled us to verify the nature of their disagreement. At any rate, Callahan owned the Squares, and built a good ballclub. |
