Difference #2	In 1906, the ball was dead! Lively it wasn't! Fly balls did not carry as far! Or as high! The ball had less bounce than today! The yarn inside the ball wasn't wrapped tightly! DID YOU KNOW . . .	The 1906 baseball weighed between 5 and 5-1/4 ounces--the same as today's ball! It had a rubber core-- later replaced with a cork core-- which may or may not be significant!   The Cubs hit only 20 home runs during the regular season, the Sox just seven! Neither team hit a single homer during the World Series!
