DID YOU KNOW . . .	The Chicago Tribune presented a "Reproduction" of the 1906 World Series games, as they were played, for fans gathered at two large indoor locations. A private telegraph service was established between the ballparks and the halls. An expert operator flashed every play over the wires to the waiting audience. A huge electric scoreboard allowed fans to track progress of the game. It was just like watching the real game-- wIthout the discomfort of standing in the cold!
